Mr Baarath Ram holds a Higher Education Teaching Certificate from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from NUS. He is the author and editor of multiple Physics guidebooks and textbooks used across Singapore.

With more than 20 years of teaching experience across H1, H2 and H3 Physics, IB, O Level, IP and Olympiad, he transforms complex concepts into clear, logical and manageable steps.

Mr Travis Sia graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with Second Class (Upper) Honours in Engineering. With 24 years teaching Secondary School Physics experience, he brings a wealth of subject expertise, pedagogical knowledge, and a deep understanding of examination requirements.

His exceptional teaching track record includes an impressive 95% distinction rate, with no student in his reported cohort scoring below B3. Working closely with the Founder and Principal Tutor of Pivot Physics, Mr Sia combines his teaching expertise with Pivot’s signature systematic problem-solving frameworks, equipping students with the knowledge, confidence, and examination techniques needed to achieve outstanding results.

An NTU Electrical and Electronic Engineering major, Mr Ameen achieved a perfect AAAA at A Levels (H2 PCME) with a Distinction in H3 Chemistry, and won Silver at the Singapore Physics Olympiad 2023.

With over two years teaching O Level and A Level Physics, he emphasises conceptual clarity and breaking complex questions into manageable steps.

Mr Solomon made Yishun Innova Junior College history as the only student to attain the perfect score of 90 Rank Points.

With over four years of teaching and extensive training under Pivot’s teaching system, he is known for clear explanations and making challenging concepts easier to understand.

Our IB Physics Head Coach, Vivek holds a B.Tech in Engineering Physics from IIT Madras and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.

Patient and approachable, he helps students move beyond memorising formulas to applying their knowledge confidently.

A former Raffles Institution student and NTU scholar, Ms Elexius was the top O-Level Physics student in her secondary school.

At Pivot she supports student engagement, programme delivery and curriculum development, helping students build understanding through clear, structured guidance.
